Boat hire for groups and companies in Palamós
If you are looking for a boat for a group or company in Palamós, the most practical approach is to combine several boats leaving together from Port Marina Palamós, each taking up to 12 people and, if needed, with a skipper. It works for a team day, for hosting clients or for rounding off a conference with an afternoon at sea. Here is how we organise it.
Three formats that work
Team day
Several similar boats, a joint departure, a swim in the coves to the north and lunch at anchor. It works best if each boat has its own skipper: nobody on the team has to keep an eye on the helm and everyone joins in.
Clients or visitors
A yacht with a skipper, such as the Sunseeker Camargue 50 or the Absolute 45, for up to 12 people. Space, shade and a comfortable trip for unhurried conversation. The Gozzo Positano 32 Open, also skippered, is a lighter alternative.
Mixed group
A yacht or sailboat for part of the group and motorboats or llaüts for the rest. Everyone sets their own pace and you all meet up in the same cove.
How we coordinate several boats
- A single point of contact. You deal with us and we coordinate the boats.
- Allocation by boat. Send us the group list in advance and we will split it according to capacity. Each boat has a maximum number of people that cannot be exceeded.
- Meeting time and place. All boats leave from Port Marina Palamós. We will confirm where each group boards.
- Sailing in company. The boats travel together, at the speed of the slowest, and anchor in the same spot.
As a guide: for around 30 people you need three boats for 10–12 people each, or a mix of large and medium-sized boats.
A typical day plan
- Morning: joint departure and a trip towards La Fosca, Cala s’Alguer and Castell.
- Midday: boats anchored on sand, a swim and lunch on board.
- Afternoon: a pass by Cala Estreta or, if the tramontana is blowing, a switch to the coves to the south.
- Return: staggered arrival at the port so nobody waits on the pontoon.
Catering, decorations, music or a photographer are not included. Tell us what you need when you book and we will let you know what each boat allows.
Prices
Starting prices per boat per day, VAT included: motorboats from €170, llaüts from €215, RIBs from €230, sailboats from €245 and skippered yachts from €2,200. Prices are higher in July and August. On motorboats fuel is usually paid separately. Skipper, insurance and deposit are shown on each boat’s page. For several boats, ask us for a combined quote.
Frequently asked questions
Does anyone in the group need a licence?
Not if every boat has a skipper. To skipper a boat yourself, from 1 October 2026 you need at least the Licencia de Navegación. We explain it in our guide to boating licences.
Is there a quieter option?
Yes, the electric llaüts: no noise, no fumes. They are rare on the Costa Brava and require a licence. Price on request.
What if the weather is bad?
We assess it with you before departure. The rescheduling conditions are in our terms and conditions.
How far ahead do we need to book?
For several boats in July or August, the sooner the better. In June and September there is usually more availability.
