Within the two miles allowed by the Licencia de Navegación you have Cala S’Alguer, Platja de Castell, Cala Margarida and the whole Palamós seafront.

Licence

As of 1 October 2026, a boating licence is compulsory to rent a boat. For this one, the Licencia de Navegación is all you need, and it is the simplest licence there is: a one-day course (two hours of theory and four of practice), with no exam. It allows you to sail by day up to two miles from the coast in boats up to 6 metres long.
